Hayward SwimClear C100S / C150S / C200S Cartridge Filter Lid O-Ring – CXFHR1001

Hayward SwimClear Cartridge Filter Head O-Ring — Part CXFHR1001

The Hayward SwimClear filter head O-ring (CXFHR1001) seals the joint between the filter lid and the tank body on C100S, C150S, and C200S cartridge filters. A worn, cracked, or flattened O-ring is one of the most common causes of water leaking from the top of a SwimClear filter. Replacing it is a quick, low-cost fix that restores a watertight seal and correct operating pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What causes a Hayward SwimClear filter to leak from the lid?

The most common cause of leaking from the top of a Hayward SwimClear cartridge filter is a worn, cracked, or deformed filter head O-ring. Over time, exposure to pool chemicals and UV causes the rubber to harden and lose its seal. Replacing the O-ring (CXFHR1001) typically resolves the leak.

What is the part number for the Hayward SwimClear filter head O-ring?

The part number is CXFHR1001 (also referenced as 20-CXFHR1001). This O-ring suits the C100S, C150S, and C200S SwimClear cartridge filters.

What are the dimensions of the Hayward SwimClear filter lid O-ring?

The O-ring has a circumference of 955mm, a diameter of 303mm, and a thickness of 7.8mm.

Does this O-ring fit the C250S or C500S SwimClear filters?

No. This O-ring (CXFHR1001) is specifically sized for the C100S, C150S, and C200S models. The larger C250S and C500S filters use a different O-ring. Contact us if you need help identifying the correct part for your model.
