Air Switch Models

The air switch variants (Whisperair S) include an air switch controller and connecting tubing for remote activation and deactivation of the blower. An air button is installed in or near the spa shell and connected to the tubing, allowing the blower to be turned on and off without electrical switches near the water.

Do I need the air switch model?

If you want to control the blower remotely using a pneumatic air button mounted in or near the spa shell — without running electrical wiring to a switch near the water — choose the air switch model. If you already have a separate blower controller or timer in your spa equipment setup, the standard model without an air switch is sufficient.

What is the thermal cut-out and do I need to reset it?

The integral thermal cut-out is a safety feature that automatically stops the blower motor if it becomes too hot. Unlike some blowers that require manual resetting after a thermal trip, the Whisperair’s cut-out resets automatically once the motor has cooled sufficiently. No manual intervention is required.

Which wattage should I choose — 900w or 1200w?

The right wattage depends on the size of your spa and the number of air jets. Larger spas with more jets generally benefit from the 1200w model to maintain adequate air pressure and flow across all jets.
