Astral Hurlcon 50mm Multiport Valve Cover O-Ring (75930)

Astral Hurlcon 50mm Multiport Valve Cover O-Ring – Part 75930

Stop leaks at the source with the genuine Astral Hurlcon 50mm MPV Cover O-Ring (Part 75930). This is the OEM replacement O-ring for the valve cover on Astral Hurlcon 50mm multiport valves (Praher valves), manufactured post-September 2009. A worn or flattened cover O-ring is a common cause of water leaking from the top of the multiport valve — this is a quick, low-cost fix that restores a watertight seal.

Why Replace Your MPV Cover O-Ring?

• Worn O-rings cause water to leak from the multiport valve lid or cover
• Degraded seals reduce filter system pressure and efficiency
• Genuine OEM part ensures correct sizing and long-term seal integrity
• Simple DIY replacement — no special tools required

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Astral 75930 O-ring seal?
The 75930 is the cover O-ring for the Astral Hurlcon 50mm multiport valve. It seals the joint between the valve cover and the valve body, preventing water from leaking out of the top of the MPV.

Which multiport valves does part 75930 fit?
Part 75930 fits the Astral Hurlcon 50mm multiport valve (Praher valve) on models manufactured from September 2009 to current. It is referenced as Part 7 on the 50mm valve parts diagram. If your valve was manufactured before September 2009, a different O-ring may be required — contact us if you are unsure.

How do I know if my MPV cover O-ring needs replacing?
Common signs include water leaking from the top or lid area of the multiport valve, visible flattening, cracking, or brittleness in the existing O-ring, or a drop in filter system pressure. O-rings typically degrade every 2–5 years depending on chemical exposure and UV.

Is this a genuine Astral part?
Yes — this is a genuine Astral Hurlcon OEM replacement O-ring (part 75930), not an aftermarket substitute. Genuine parts ensure correct sizing and a reliable, long-lasting seal.

How do I replace the multiport valve cover O-ring?
Turn off the pump and release system pressure. Remove the multiport valve cover screws and lift the cover. Remove the old O-ring from its groove, clean the seating surface, and press the new 75930 O-ring firmly into place. Refit the cover and tighten screws evenly. A small amount of silicone lubricant (not petroleum-based) on the O-ring helps it seat correctly and extends its life.
