Frequently Asked Questions
- What's the difference between the X25 and X20?
- The X25 adds waterline cleaning, a swivel cable to prevent tangling, and a multi-layer filtration basket that captures both coarse and ultra-fine debris — upgrades not available on the X20.
- Does the X25 clean the waterline?
- Yes — unlike the X20, the Dolphin X25 cleans the floor, walls, and waterline in a single 2-hour cycle.
- What does Climate Care Certified mean?
- Maytronics' Climate Care Certification means the X25 is designed to minimise energy consumption, reduce water usage, and lower chemical demand compared to traditional pool cleaning methods.
- Can I upgrade the X20 filtration instead of buying the X25?
- You can fit genuine ultra-fine filter panels to the X20, but it won't gain waterline cleaning or the swivel cable — those are hardware differences unique to the X25.
