Frequently Asked Questions

What device are these reagents compatible with?

These reagents are designed exclusively for the Pool Lab Chromatalyzer ASP (also known as the Puresilk Chromatalyzer). They are not interchangeable with other pool testing devices.

How long does one 3-bag reagent set last?

Each 3-bag set provides approximately 750 tests — enough for 6 to 8 months of regular water management on a standard residential pool when testing 2–3 times per week.

What does the Pool Lab reagent set test for?

The set tests for the two most critical pool water parameters: free chlorine and pH. Keeping these in range ensures safe, comfortable, and equipment-friendly pool water.

Why use reagents instead of test strips?

Reagent-based testing delivers significantly more accurate and consistent results than test strips, which can degrade with humidity, age, and handling. The Pool Lab Chromatalyzer gives you laboratory-grade accuracy at home.

How do I know when I need to reorder my Pool Lab reagents?

Each bag in the set is used progressively. When reagent levels run low or the device prompts a refill, it’s time to reorder. Keeping a spare set on hand avoids gaps in your water management routine.
