This is the genuine Maytronics replacement floating swivel cable for Dolphin robotic pool cleaners that use a 2-pin spring connector. The 17m length suits most in-ground pool installations, and the built-in swivel prevents cable twist during cleaning cycles — extending the life of your cleaner and improving pool coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between this cable and the 99958906-DIY?

The 9995861-DIY uses a 2-pin spring connector and suits models like the Swash CLX, X30, and K-Bot RX1. The 99958906-DIY uses an M2 connector and suits a different range of Dolphin models including the X40 Plus, S300i, and M500. Always match the connector type to your existing cable.

Why does my Dolphin cable twist and tangle?

Tangling is usually caused by a worn or failed swivel. Replacing the cable with this genuine floating swivel cable restores tangle-free operation and reduces strain on your cleaner's motor.

Is 18m long enough for my pool?

18m suits most standard in-ground pools. As a guide, measure the longest diagonal of your pool and add 2–3m for power supply placement. Contact us if you need advice for larger pools.

Can I install this cable myself?

Yes — this is the DIY version designed for self-installation. No special tools are required. Always power off the cleaner before disconnecting or connecting the cable.

What are the signs my Dolphin cable needs replacing?

Common signs include the cleaner stopping mid-cycle, persistent tangling, visible damage to the cable sheath, or the cable failing to float properly. Replacing with a genuine OEM cable ensures full compatibility with your power supply and cleaner.
