Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Rola Chem chlorine squeeze tube do?

The squeeze tube is the peristaltic pump element inside your Rola Chem chlorinator. It flexes repeatedly to push liquid chlorine through the dosing system. Over time it degrades and must be replaced to maintain accurate dosing.

How often should I replace the Rola Chem squeeze tube?

Astral Pool recommends replacing the squeeze tube every 12–18 months, or sooner if you notice reduced chlorine output, cracking, or leaking around the pump head.

Is this tube compatible with the RC1, RC9, and Viron EQ models?

Yes — this genuine Astral Pool part (SP520113) is designed to fit the Rola Chem RC1, RC9, and Viron EQ chlorinator models.

Can I use an aftermarket squeeze tube instead?

Aftermarket tubes may not match the exact wall thickness or material specification, which can cause incorrect flow rates or premature failure. A genuine OEM tube is the safest choice for reliable chlorine dosing.

How do I replace the squeeze tube on my Rola Chem chlorinator?

Turn off the chlorinator and isolate the chemical supply. Open the pump head cover, remove the old tube, and seat the new tube firmly around the rotor. Reassemble and prime before restarting. Refer to your RC1/RC9/Viron EQ manual for full instructions.
